Day 9: Day 09 : Drive to Kathmandu ( 6 hrs)
Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu Airport and Check in Hotel
Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After you get refreshed, we have a short orientation meeting introducing guide, porter and the description about the trip. We also prepare the necessary equipment. Be with 3 passport size photographs, passport and travel insurance. Welcome dinner and orientation.
Day 02 - Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour ( Swyombhunatha, Bouddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Pashupatinath Temple) All are UNESCO World Heritage Sites
We begin our Kathmandu sightseeing after breakfast at around 8. This is a guided sightseeing. We have a van or car and a professional city guide.Our visit is to UNESCO World Heritage sites located withn the valley like Pashupatinath, Swyombbunath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. We have lunch during our tour. After lunch we still continue our city tour and we end today's tour at around 4. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara ( 6 Hrs) Explore Lakeside Pokhara in the evening
If we choose to fly, it is 30 minutes scenic flight or if we choose to drive, it takes 7-8 hours. The road is , indeed not good enough, Sometimes, we have heavy traffic in narrow road. If we arrive early in Pokhara, we can do some sightseeing and other activities. Overnight in hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04- Drive to Sarnagkot for Sunrise and mountain views, Pokhara Sightseeing and One hour Boating in the Lake Phewa
Early in the morning, we drive to Sarnagkot for sunrise and mountain views. We begin our drive at 4.30 am in them orning and it takes around 1 hour to get the top of the hillock. Then, we begin our Pokhara sightseeing tour after breakfast. We go to visit Davi’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, Mahendra Barahi Temple, Seti Gorge and finally we do one hour boating for the seeet ending of this tour. Paragliding is also possible but it is optional.
Day 05 : Drive to Lumbini ( 8 hrs)
It is 8 hours drive from Pokhara to Lumbini via Chitwan. We follow the same road till we get Munglign. Then the road divides one to Chitwan and the other to Kathmandu. We follow the road to Chitwan and pass it and we further drive for 3-4 hours to get Lumbini. Overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
Day 06 : Lumbini Tour
We explore Lumbini for the whole day. We visit Ashokan Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, The Crane Sanctuary, The Sacred Garden and several other monasteries. We also can organize yoga and meditation in this sacred land.
Day 07 : Drive to Chitwan ( 3-4 hrs drive) Evening- Tharu Cultural Show
We catch a tourist bus to Chitwan form Lumbini. It is 3-4 hours drive from Lumbini to Chitwan. We participate in Tharu Cultural show in the evening.
Day 08 : Rest of the Chitwan Program Day 04 : Rest of Chitwan Programs like Canoeing, Jungle Safari, Bird and Crocodile Watching, Visit to Elephant breeding center etc.
First, we do canoeing and birdwatching at the same at the bank of Rapti River. At the same time we watch crocodiles. Then, we participate in a short jungle walk. After our lunch we go for jeep or elephant safari for 3-4 hours. Finally, we go to visit elephant breeding center and end our Chitwan program.
Day 09 : Drive to Kathmandu ( 6 hrs)
We take a tourist bus and head for Kathmandu from Chitwan after our breakfast. It takes around 6 hours drive from Chitwan if there is no huge traffic. Sometimes, we have heavy traffic and may take longer time. Prepare some snacks, fruits and other light foods to enjoy during the drive. We arrive at Kathmandu and spend overnioght at hotel.
