Start your 7 days Annapurna Base Camp from Nayapool, the gateway to Annapurna region. Drive from Pokhara to get Nayapool. Get your trekking permits at Annapurna Conservation Area office located at Nayapool. Now, ascend along the bank of Modi Khola till we get Jhino Danda. Pass Jhino Danda and trek to Chhomrong. Passing through Bamboo, Dovan and Deurali, we arrive at Machhapuchhre Base Camp . Enjoy the spectacular mountain panorama here. Further, trek to Annapurna Base Camp, the final destination of 7 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek and capture the life changing moments. Accommodation

We will offer three star accommodation in Kathmandu and in Pokhara . If you want to upgrade the accommodation, you have to pay some extra. Mountain accommodation during the trekking days will be very ordinary and basic. All accommodation will be on twin sharing basis. Single supplementary has to pay extra.  We spend the night at lodges and guesthouses. We occasionally get attached bathrooms. eNepaltour Pvt. Ltd. tries its best to book the A grade accommodation in the mountain prior to the trekking unlike other populated regions.

Meals

We provide only breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara and all three meals during the trekking days. In the trekking days, you pick up the item mentioned in the menu at the lodge or guesthouse and you will enjoy it. Sometimes, in a big group, you may have buffet service too. This takes place especially in peak season (Sept-Nov).  Breakfast will be provided at the guesthouse where we spent the night, lunch somewhere in the middle of the next destination and dinner at the guesthouse where we stay tonight. We offer you typical organic Nepali cushion which are really amazing.  

Best Time to Travel

Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best time for Trekking in Nepal. The weather is delightful and pleasant during autumn. The mountain views are astonishing.

The hills are wrapped with beautiful flowering rhododendron during spring. Also majority of the trekkers find Spring best time for Annapurna Base Camp trek since they love to see flowering rhododendron.

Winter( Dec-Feb) will be very harsh due to cold and cloudy weather which hide the mountain peaks.

Summer will be too hot for some trekkers. Heavy rainfall occurs and disturbs the transportation and even walk in the mountain.

Physical Condition and Experience

Those who can walk 6-7 hours in the mountain can do this trek.7 days  Annapurna Base Camp Trek  is a moderate  trek in Annapurna Region Trekking in Nepal . Regular exercise, jogging and short hiking enhance your stamina and confidence. No prior trekking experience and technical skills are required for Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. However,  these prior skills will be an asset for it.

Getting to the trailhead and Away

We drive or fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It is short 25 minutes flight. But if you choose to drive, it takes 8-9 hours. Again from Pokhara, we drive 1.30 hrs to Nayapool. Nayapool is the bginning point of 10 days Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. We again end our trekking at Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara. We either choose to fly or drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. 

Threats and Safety

We do not really face such terrible threats during this trekking. There is no any slippery trail. We do not face any glaciers and avalanches in Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. But climbing steep uphill of  Ulleri might be challenging, sometimes, for the beginners. But it is only for 2-3 hours hiking. Otherwise, we will celebrate beautiful and pleasant trek in the lap of mountains. 

There are few cases the trekkers suffered from altitude sickness. It may be because dehydration and lack of stamina. Sometimes, we have food poison too. Report it to you trekking leader or guide if you have any health inconveniences. You will immediately be rescued. Drink plenty of hot drinks and do not smoke in the higher elevation. Have balanced diet and have sound sleep.

Day 01: Drive to Nayapool- Trek to Chhomrong ( (2020m/6625ft)

Take an hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapool. Get your permits checked at Annapurna Conservation Area Project Office at Nayapool and trek along Modi Khola. Arrive at Jhino  and trek to Chhomrong. It is hard to get Chhomrong from Jhino because you will encounter with steep uphill in between Jhino and Chhomrong. Overnight at guesthouse Chhomrong. 

Day 02 - Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m/8528ft) Duration: 5 Hours

We further trek following Chhmrong Khola.Today, we enter into the core Annapurna Conservation Area and observe some unique species of flora and faunas. Overnight at Teahouse at Dovan.

Day 03 - Dovan to Deurali (3200m/10500ft) Duration: 4 Hours

Today, we mostly will encounter with bamboo. These bamboos are amazing and pleasant. Besides, we also observe deep and dense rhododendron on the way to Deurali. We pass Hinku and finally get Deurali. We get several lodges and teahouse as our accommodation. Overnight at Teahouse at Deurali.

Day 04 - Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4210m/13810ft) Duration: 5 hours

Today, we first trek for Machhapuchhre Base Camp which is a popular vantage point in Annapurna Trekking region in Nepal. We capture awe-inspiring mountain views and we further attempt to get Annapurna Base Camp. We will totally be mesmerized to witness towering mountain peaks from Annapurna Base Camp. It takes further 2 hours from Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Overnight at Teahouse at Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 05 - Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m/7575ft) Duration: 7 hours

We hike down following Modi Khola all the way until we get Bamboo. This is the first day of backtracking in this trip. Overnight at Teahouse at Bamboo.

Day 06 - Bamboo to Jhinu Danda hot spring (1780m/5840ft) Duration: 6 hours

Today, we first climb up Chhomrong. During this climb, we massively encounter with flowering rhododendron during spring. From chhomrong, we hike down to Jhino Danda and we enjoy natural hot spring here. Overnight at guest house at Jhino Danda.

Day 07 - Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (910m/2985ft) Duration: 5 Hours

We trek to Nayapool first and take a bus or van to Pokhara. It is total 5 hours trip todays including hiking and driving.
