We first either drive or fly to Pokhara. And then we again eithr drive or fly to Jomsom. Most of the trekkers love to fly to Jomsom. It is 25 minutes flight. And we begin our trekking towards Kagbeni.

Pokhara, Jomsom, Kagbeni, Marpha, Ghorepani , Ghandruk and Tadapani are popular places to visit. Ghorepani offers us both stunning sunrise and mountain views of entire Annapurna Massif.

Jomsom-Muktinath Trek-13 days Food and Accomodation

We will be using normal accommodation like mountain accommodation in the teahouse or guest house. Toilets will normally be outside. The rooms and beds are neat and clean.

We can have the food items mentioned in the menu at the guesthouse. One item of the food costs between 3-8 dollars.

What is the best time for Jomsom Muktinath Trek-13 days?

The best time for Jomsom Muktinath Trek-13 days is between Septemer- mid of November. However, some people love to see flowering Rhododendron during spring, March and April.

Physical Condition and Experience

Those who can walk 4-5 hours in the mountain can do this trek.  Annapurna Jomsom Muktinath Trekking  is a moderate  trek in Annapurna-Mustang Region Trekking in Nepal . Regular exercise, jogging and short hiking enhance your stamina and confidence. No  prior trekking experience and technical skills are required for Jomsom Muktinath Trek-13 days . These prior skills will be an asset for it.

Threats and Safety

We do not really face such terrible threats during this trekking. There is no any slippery trail. We do not face any glaciers and avalenches in Jomsom Muktinath Trek-13 days.  We will fully clebrate beautiful and pleasant trek in the lap of mountains. 

There are few cases the trekkers suffered from altitude sickness. It may be because dehydration and lack of stamina. Sometimes, we have food poison too. Report it to you trekking leader or guide if you have any health inconveniences. You will immediately be rescued. Drink plenty of hot drinks and do not smoke in the higher elevation. Have balanced diet and have sound sleep. 

 Note: If you have serious health problem, please consult doctor or inform us before departure to the trailhead.

Flight to Jomsom from Pokhara may be cancelled or postponed due to bad weather condition. So, be with few spare days and be ready to change the trip.

Day 01 : Arrival

Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport [Kathmandu] and transfer to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day 02 : Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley [1,300m/4,264ft] including some of the major places such as Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath and Boudha Gumba that have been declared as World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. Back to hotel in the evening. Stay overnight

Day 03 : Fly or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Fly or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara [823m/2,700ft] that takes 35 minutes or 6 hours respectively. Hotel overnight

Day 04 : Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom

Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom [2,715m/8,910ft] that takes 35 minutes and then further trek to Kagbeni [2,810/9,218ft] that takes 4 – 5 hours. Teahouse overnight

Day 05 : Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath

Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath [3,800/12,467ft] that takes 5 hours. Camp overnight

Day 06 : Trek from Muktinath to Marpha

Trek from Muktinath to Marpha [2,670m/8,760ft] that takes 7 hours. Camp overnight

Day 07 : Trek from Marpha to Ghasa

Trek from Marpha to Ghasa [2,110m/6,922ft] that takes 6 hours. Camp overnight

Day 08 : Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani

Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani [1,190m/3,904ft] that takes 6 hours. This site encompasses a natural hot spring. Camp overnight

Day 09 : Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani

Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani [2,750m/9,020ft] that takes 7 hours. Camp overnight

Day 10 : Trek from Ghorepani to Naya Pool

Trek from Ghorepani to Naya Pool [2,070m/6,791ft] and then further drive to Pokhara. Hotel overnight

Day 11 : Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Hotel overnight

Day 12 : Free Day

Free day in Kathmandu in your own. Back to hotel in the late evening and enjoy farewell dinner followed by a cultural show. Stay overnight
