The Royal Trek is best suited for the beginners and those who are confined by the time but still passionate to witness Annapurna and Langtang Himalayan range and experience unspoiled traditional culture and life style. The Royal Trekkking trail is located closer to beautiful tourist hub, Pokhara.
The Royal Trek is one of the best shorts treks in Nepal. It encompasses the solitary and less crowded trail through picturesque classical Gurung hemplets just above Pokhara valley. This trek got its name so after Prince Charles and Mick Zaggar, the vocalist of The Rolling Stones, along with his team explored this trekking trail in early eighties.
This beautiful trekking into the Annapurna foothills lets us experience traditional country settlements, traditions, cultural practices, fresh and organic dishes, friendly Gurung people, beautiful terraced fields. Pokhara itself is one of the prime highlights of The Royal Trek.
Most important, we witness stunning mountain views include Annapurna-I, Annapurna-IV, Annapurna- South, Langtang range, Gangapurna, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre and many other alluring snowy peaks. We also celebrate the views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Lamjung Himal at the same time.
The Royal Trek begins after our drive or walk to Lakeside from the hotel. We begin our hiking to Kalikasthan via beautiful traditional Gurung settlements. We end our The royal Trek at Begnas Lake which is 30 km away from Pokhara. Finally, we will drive back to Pokhara.

Best Time to Travel
Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best time for Trekking. The weather is delightful and pleasant during autumn. The mountain views are astonishing.
The hills are wrapped with beautiful flowering rhododendron during spring. Majority of the trekkers find spring the best time for The Royal Trek since they love to see flowering rhododendron.
Winter( Dec-Feb) will be very harsh due to cold and cloudy weather which hide the mountain peaks.
Summer will be too hot for some trekkers. Heavy rainfall occurs and disturbs the transportation and even walk in the mountain.

Those who can walk 2-5 hours in the mountain can do this trek. The Royal Trek is an easy trek in Annapurna Region Trekking in Nepal.
