We will offer three star accommodations in Kathmandu . If you want to upgrade the accommodation, you have to pay some extra. Mountain accommodation during the trekking days will be very ordinary and basic. All accommodation will be on twin sharing basis. Single supplementary has to pay extra. We spend the night at lodges and guesthouses. We occasionally get attached bathrooms. eNepaltour Pvt. Ltd. tries its best to book the A grade accommodation in the mountain prior to the trekking unlike other populated regions.
We provide only breakfast in Kathmandu and during the trekking days. In the trekking days, you pick up the item mentioned in the menu at the lodge or guesthouse and you will enjoy it. Sometimes, in a big group, you may have buffet service too. This takes place especially in peak season (Sept-Nov). Breakfast will be provided at the guesthouse where we spent the night, lunch somewhere in the middle of the next destination and dinner at the guesthouse where we stay tonight. We offer you typical organic Nepali cushion which are really amazing.
Best Time to Travel
Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best time for Trekking. The weather is delightful and pleasant during autumn. The mountain views are astonishing.
The hills are wrapped with beautiful flowering rhododendron during spring. Mjaority of the trekkers find Spring best time for Langtang-Gosainkunda Trek-16 days since they love to see flowering rhododendron.
Winter( Dec-Feb) will be very harsh due to cold and cloudy weather which hide the mountain peaks.
Summer will be too hot for some trekkers. Heavy rainfall occurs and disturbs the transportation and even walk in the mountain.
Physical Condition and Experience
Those who can walk 4-5 hours in the mountain can do this trek. Langtang-Gosainkunda Trek-16 days is a moderate trek in Langtang region Trekking . Regular exercise, jogging and short hiking enhance your stamina and confidence. No prior trekking experience and technical skills are required for Langtang-Gosainkunda Trek-16 days. However, these prior skills will be an asset for it.
Getting to the trailhead and Away
We drive from Kathmandu to Syabribesi for 8-9 hours. The road we are using is narrow country road. Swabrubesi is the beginning point of Langtang-Gosainkunda Trek-16 days. No tourist buses can be used to get Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. We only get private or public jeep or bus. These buses and jeep are not convenient. Prepare to face 8-9 hours local bus trip to Syabrubesi.Some poepl want to end the trekking Syabrubesi and some want to end it at Sudarijal.
Threats and Safety
We do not really face such terrible threats during this trekking. There is no any slippery and steep trail till Langtnag Valley and Gosainkunda. But if the trekkers want Gosainkunda Pass, then, we have steep trail which may be challenging to the trekkers for 2 days after Gosainkunda Pass. Also, trekkers will encounter with massive snow on the Goainkunda Pass during winter. While passing through Langtang National Park, we are to walk in group in order to avoid wild animals. It doesn’t mean that the wild animals attack people.
There are few cases the trekkers suffered from altitude sickness. Report it to you trekking leader or guide if you have any health inconveniences. You will immediately be rescued. Drink plenty of hot drinks and do not smoke in the higher elevation.

Day 01 - Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu
Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport [Kathmandu] and transfer to your hotel at kathmandu stay overnight. Our representative will receive you at the airport and trasafer to the hotel. After you get refressed, we have a short orientation meeting introducing guide, porter and the description about the trip. We also prepare the necessary equipment. Be with 3 passport size photographs, passport and travel insurance. Welcome dinner in the evening.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
We begin our valley sightseeing after breakfast at around 8. This is a guided sightseeing. We have a van or car and a professional city guide.Our visit is to UNESCO World Heritage sites located withn the valley like Pashupatinath, Swyombbunath, Bouddhanath, Patan etc. We have lunch during our tour. After lunch we still continue our city tour and we end today's tour at around 4. In the evening, we can get the equipments that we require during the trek.
Day 03 - Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1462m/4795ft) Duration: 7 hrs
This drive begins from Kathmandu, Machhapokhari nearby New Buspark. Actually this drive is with local bus. We suggest you to bring some snacks for the way.
After we leave Kathmandu valley, we drive along the country road which is narrow and has numerous bends. Till Trishuli Bazar, we have smooth road. After, we leave Trishuli bazaar, we begin to experience country rough road till we get Syabrubesi. However, we experience country settlements and people. Overnight at guesthouse at Syabrubesi.
Day 04 - Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft) Duration: 5 hrs
Syabru Bensi is the commencing point of Langtang Valley Trekking. Today, our destination is Lama Hotel. This trekking is in Langtang National Park, so, we see some unique species of animals and plants. We follow Langtang Khola. We pass thorough Bamboo plants and finally get Lama Hotel. Overnight at guesthouse at Lama Hotel.Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley [3,430m/11,253ft] that takes 6 hours. Teahouse overnight
Day 05 - Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3307m/10845ft) Duration: 5 hrs
We again follow Langtang Khola for today’s trek. We pass through Ghoda Tabela, which means ‘Horse Stable’. We see numerous pasturelands on the way to Langtang Valley. The mountain views become more mesmerizing.
Day 06 - Langtang village to Kyanjing Ri (4773m/15655ft) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m/12495ft) Duration: 7-8 hrs
Today’s trek is relatively tougher than the previous days. We pass Laja Khola and get to Kanjing Gumpa. Kyanjing Gumpa offers us some dramatic vies of icefall from Langtang and Lirung. Then ,we further climb up to Kyanjing ri which is vantage point in Langtang region, offers mesmerizing views of majestic peaks. After that, we trek back to Langtang village/ valley. Overnight at guesthouse at Langtang village.
Day 08 - Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs
We begin our backtracking today. This backtracking is all the way down to Lama Hotel. But we are still in Langtang National Park. Overnight at guest house at Lama Hotel. Actually, Lama Hotel is not a name of the hotel, this is the place name in Langtang region.
Day 08 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabrubesi [2,124m/6,968ft] 6 hours
To end this trek today, we go back to Syabrubesi but we are heading to Gosainkunda. We pass this region and shift to the other region that is Gosainkunda region. We walk viewing magnifieent landscapes and mountian views to the Langtang side. Overnight at ThuloSyabru.
Day 09 : Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa [3,210m/10,531ft] 5 hours.
We trek todat for 5-6 hours to get Sing Gompa. We get very closer to Gosainkunda today. In tody's trek , we experience different himalayan vegetations, friendly people and astonishing mountain views of Langtang range. Overnight at Sing Gumpa.
Day 10: Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft): 5-6 hours
Toda's trek is all the way up till we get Gosainkunda. Beogre getting Gosainkunda, we see many other beautiful lakes at the lap of the mountain which mesmerize us today. Gosainkunda is a huge lake with a stone indol ain the middle of it which is consdered to be god Shiva. Overnight at Gosainkunda.
Day 11 : Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,440m/11,286ft): 6-8 hours
Today, we experience beautiful virgin snow on our trail while crossing Gosainkunda Pass. The snow lovers will have a blissful moment here. Then the trail turns to be steep downhill till we get Ghopte. Today, we have to be very careful about our pacing to avoid possible accident on the steep rocky trail all the way down. You had better have trekking poles today.
Day 12 : Ghopte - Kutumsang( 2,446m/8,022ft) 5 hours.
Today's trail also is somehow steep rocky trail but not as steep as the prvious day. We enjoy beautiful country settlements and meet with friendly village people and enperince their culture and lifetyle. We enjoy this pleasant walk today. Overnight at Kutumsang.
Day 13 : Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (1,660m/5,445ft) that takes 5 – 6 hour
Today's walk is very pleasant to Chisapani. We walk all the way down except a little climb at the end while getting Chispani. Chisapani is a beautiful viewpoint in this trekking which divides one way to Nagarkot and the other to Suandarijal. We choose the trail to Sundarijal from Chisapani. We witness magnificent sunrise and mountian views from Chisapani.
Day 14 : Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu ( 2 hrs walk and 1 hour drive)
Today is the final day of this trekking. Today's walk via beautiful deep forest is amazing. We begin to view Kathmandu valley at the end of hiking today. We get bus or private vehicle at Sundarijal and drive an hour to get hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Free day
Free day in Kathmandu in your own. This day is especialy for in case something bad happened during the trek. Back to hotel in the late evening and enjoy farewell dinner followed by a cultural show. Stay overnight
Day 16 : Final departure
According to your international flight schedule, we drop you at the 2 hours earlier so that you will be able to catch up your scheduled flight. This is the day to say good bye to you but it doesn’t mean that you won’t come back to Nepal again.
