Australian Camp Trekking -7 days

Trip Overview

Australian Camp Trekking encompasses magnificent trek via picturesque settlements, terraced fields, friendly people, lush rhododendron and alluring mountain peaks. Australian Camp Trekking trail is located just above Pokhara valley and it is a rewarding choice for the beginners.

Australian  Camp Trekking rewards us three viewpoints: Dhampus, Australian Camp and Sarangkot. All these three viewpoints are popular in Annapurna region trekking for breathtaking mountain and stunning sunrise view. We capture stunning Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Himchuli, Gangapurna, Ganehs Himal, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri in Australian Camp Trekking.

Australian Camp Trekking begins from Pokhara, Ghattekulo or Phedi. We first take one hour drive from Pokhara to Phedi or Ghattekulo and begin our hiking all the way up till we get Dhampus. Our further trek via lush rhododendron takes us to Australian Camp. We celebrate magnificent mountain panorama and trek to Sarangkot to see stunning sunrise and mountain peaks. Finally, we end our Australian Camp Trekking in Pokhara.

Single supplementary has to pay extra.  We spend the night at lodges and guesthouses. We occasionally get attached bathrooms. eNepaltour Pvt. Ltd. tries its best to book the A grade accommodation in the mountain prior to the trekking unlike other populated regions.

Meals

We provide only breakfast in Kathmandu, Pokhara and during the trekking days. In the trekking days, you pick up the item mentioned in the menu at the lodge or guesthouse and you will enjoy it. Sometimes, in a big group, you may have buffet service too. This takes place especially in peak season (Sept-Nov).  Breakfast will be provided at the guesthouse where we spent the night, lunch somewhere in the middle of the next destination and dinner at the guesthouse where we stay tonight. We offer you typical organic Nepali cushion which are really amazing. One item of meal costs between3-9 USD in this trekking route.

Best Time to Travel

Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and spring (March to May) are the best time for Trekking. The weather is delightful and pleasant during autumn. The mountain views are astonishing.

The hills are wrapped with beautiful flowering rhododendron during spring. Majority of the trekkers find spring best time to trek to Australian Camp since they love to see flowering rhododendron.

Winter( Dec-Feb) will be very harsh due to cold and cloudy weather which hide the mountain peaks.

Summer will be too hot for some trekkers. Heavy rainfall occurs and disturbs the transportation and even walk in the mountain.

Physical Condition and Experience

Those who can walk 2-5 hours in the mountain can do this trek.  Australian Camp Trekking is an easy trek in Annapurna Region Trekking in Nepal . Regular exercise, jogging and short hiking enhance your stamina and confidence.
